📘 Hi, I’m Hank, a person who likes British accent and British culture 😉
This is a story about someone who didn’t grow up speaking good English,
but still made it abroad—and ended up doing a lot of things in English.
I wasn’t the kind of student who was naturally good at English.
I scored just 4 on Taiwan’s high school entrance exam and only 40 on the college-level one.
There was a time when it took me forever to say a single sentence in English, and my mind would go completely blank.
But a few years later, I found myself studying overseas, making friends in English—and even falling in love with English. 😊
It wasn’t because I suddenly got smarter.
It was because I discovered a learning method and mindset that actually works for non-native speakers like me.
Now, I want to share that with you—especially if you’ve ever felt stuck, but still want to break through.
🎯 What can you expect from our lessons?
✅ Real-life speaking practice (travel, work, social life—you name it!)
✅ We’ll bust the myth that you “don’t know enough vocabulary to speak”
✅ You’ll develop the ability to think in English through daily conversation
✅ I’ll design a personalized practice style that matches your pace and personality
✅ Most importantly, you’ll start enjoying English—and truly believe you can speak it
✅ I know what it feels like to fear mistakes, so I won’t just teach you grammar—I’ll build your confidence
✅ My psychology background helps me tackle the real reasons you're afraid to speak
✅ I use metaphors and real-life situations to make English useful and relatable
✅ From total beginners to TOEIC/IELTS prep—I’ll support you all the way until you can speak for real
👂 My teaching style
I have 4 years teaching experience.
I love teaching English through things you already know—TV shows you watch, apps you use, and everyday conversations.
In class, you won’t be overwhelmed by grammar corrections. Instead, we’ll build your own English rhythm step by step.
Based on your background, needs, and personality, I’ll help you go from afraid to speak → willing to speak → able to speak.
🙌 If this sounds like you, I’d love to see you in class:
✔ You’re scared to speak English, but don’t want to miss out anymore
✔ You’re tired of memorizing and want a method that actually works for *you*
✔ You want to speak freely—whether it’s chatting, traveling, interviewing, or studying abroad
