Hello! My name's Kirsty. I was born and bred in the UK. After completing my degree and teaching qualification at a University in England in 2012, I moved to Galicia, Spain. This move has not only provided me with valuable teaching experience but has also taught me what it is like to be a language learner. I came here with zero knowledge of the Spanish language, so I recognise how difficult and rewarding learning a foreign language can be! I fell in love with the beauty of Galicia and have been teaching in Academies here for the past 7 years. I decided to become a private tutor this January, but unfortunately (or fortunately) due to Covid-19, I have had to make the move online. Don't worry; I am very capable of using a computer and am adapting well! In fact, some of my current students are happy to continue online classes; even after the situation is resolved. I thoroughly enjoy teaching and interacting with people from around the world. Travel is one of my biggest passions and I love to learn about new cultures. I would describe myself as a social, active and fun-loving person. I love everything outdoor related; from walking my dog in the woods to camping holidays in my van.
